Curriculum - A world of Endless Possibilities
For every child the world is full of endless wonders. Therefore we need to train them not by force but by what amuses their minds. This will certainly help us discover with accuracy the particular bent of intelligence within them.
Every child thinks and reacts to a situation differently. We value this and therefore have developed an Innovative, well defined curriculum with unique teaching practices that encourages children to learn at their own pace. This provides them with an opportunity to grow with multiple skill sets and emerge as winners. Our teachers who are mentors and facilitators in the real sense, respect the individuality of each child and teach accordingly so that each Omkarians stands out as a ‘Winner’!!
We believe that a sense of curiosity is the nature’s original school of education. We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we are curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
We need to prepare our students for new challenges emerging every day. Therefore, we have developed a global and flexible curriculum after an extensive research and a comparative analysis in collaboration with eminent academicians, which caters to the children of different age groups.
Our curriculum kindles children’s curiosity and leaves them craving for more because as Plutarch has rightly said "The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be ignited". As we seek to know more about a child, we demonstrate the acts of observing, listening, questioning and wondering. Our facilitators help children to climb their own mountains as high as possible

Mr. Bajpai was working as an Educationist since 1961 and has been Awarded the Best Teacher Award in 1988. President’s Award – Fenceses in 1991 and Dnyan-Surya Award by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. As an honourable Educationist of Omkar school, he envisages a better Educational and Sports Environment for the students. Under his able guidance, the school will reach the pinnacle of success in the field of Education.
Teachers are the second parents and parents are the first teachers. We, at Omkar Public School, firmly believe in this thought. A child can bloom only if both parents and teachers work in harmony and in co-
ordination. Keeping this in mind, we have regular PTA Meeting’s to share ideas and ideologies of
fellow students.
We believe that each child is distinct with unique qualities and intelligences. And our teachers
employ highly interactive teaching methods based on ICT from the earliest levels to bring out the
children’s innate talents. They use a variety of creative techniques such as role plays, field trips
and inner reflection to involve the child closely and actively in the processes of gathering, under
standing, absorbing and using knowledge.
We provide a number of opportunities to our students to help them develop a promising character replete with winning attitude. At the school, we have Student Clubs, Houses, magazine & newsletter for the students. Six student clubs namely Health and Safety Awareness Club, Heritage Club, Environment Club, Quiz Club, Literacy Club and Dramatics Club bring out the latent skills in children and provide them with a platform to display their talent. The Houses which include Corbett House, Lincoln House, Teresa House and Edison House.
We also organize tours for students to visit museums, art galleries, exhibitions and places of historical, cultural, scientific and environmental interests.
